The Pajaro
Immerse yourself in the tranquility of our Byzantine-era Pajaro, an ancient dry-stone rural structure typical of Salento. Secluded and slightly hidden, it offers absolute privacy, surrounded by nature and covered with bamboo canes. Today, it is used as a reflection space, furnished with two reading chairs and a writing desk. Outside, in a private area, you’ll find two sofas where you can read or converse, enveloped by the scents of almond, fig, olive, prickly pear, wild caper plants, mastic trees, and everything this magical place’s nature can offer. The sofas are shaded by a large bamboo canopy. From here, a charming staircase leads down to the lower part of the country estate, where you’ll encounter a fairytale atmosphere with centuries-old trees of various species. Just beyond, you’ll also discover a vegetable garden at your disposal, where you can pick your favorite seasonal vegetables and prepare delicious dishes from the Puglian tradition.
